1. Joke Gone Bad: An Attention Seeking Father Who Posted A Picture Of Dangling His Child From A Tall Building To Get A Thousand Facebook Likes Jailed.


A father has been jailed for 2 years after he posted a sickening image of him dangling his baby from a 15th floor window to get likes on Facebook.

The man, from Algeria, posted a photo online of him holding the baby by his t-shirt and said: ''1,000 likes or I will drop him''.



2. Lost Hope Of Greener Pasture: 175 Returns To Nigeria From Libya.

Another batch of One Hundred and Seventy-five (175) Nigerians voluntarily returned from Libya on Tuesday aboard a chartered Nouvelair aircraft with registration number TS-INA.

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the aircraft landed at 7.50p.m at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos.


3.  Scammer Got Nailed: Court Jails Man For Job Scam And Orders Him To Return Victims Money.

Justice O. A. Adeniyi of the FCT High Court sitting in Apo, Abuja on Tuesday, June 20, 2017 convicted and sentenced one Micheal Ogun (a.k.a Idris Suleiman, Ibrahim Bello) to 27months imprisonment on a six-count charge of forgery and obtaining by false pretence brought against him by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC.

Ogun, allegedly poses as an officer of the Nigeria Customs Service, NCS and Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps, NSCDC, and in that assumed capacity defrauding innocent Nigerians of their hard earned money under the guise of securing them job in the two agencies.




4. Six Suspected Armed Robbers Arrested By The Police In Badagry.

Police paraded a gang of suspected armed robbers that disposed two officials of the Nigerian Customs Service (NSC) of the cars, valuables at Badagry in January .

The suspects were arrested at the Mowo area of Badagry around 1am on Tuesday .
Tunji Adesanya, 33, Rasaq Lawal, 22, Hammed Lawal, 24, Olanrewaju Wasiu, 29, Kenneth Ohmai, 39 and Ibrahim Aliu, 26,, confessed to have robbed Garba Usman and Akubo Ibrahim, on January 1, and January 5 of their Toyota Corolla, 2006 model and Lexus 350 Sports Utility Vehicle.



5.  DSS Has Released Ifanyi Ubah.

Dr. Ifeanyi Ubah, the managing director of Capital Oil and Gas Limited has been released from DSS’s detention after several weeks.

The oil mogul was released yesterday night unconditionally by the Department of State Services after a “No Case” was established, following a tedious investigation by the DSS in his rift with the NNPC.



6. A 9 Years Old Child Killed By Collapsed Wall.

A nine-year-old girl has died after a wall erected to support water pipes connected to a commercial borehole collapsed on her at Ogida Quarters in the Egor Local Government Area of Edo State.

It was learnt that the incident occurred on Osarehen Street, off Powerline Road, in Benin, the state capital.

True Life Story: She Swears For Me With Her Private Part - Man Seeks Divorce From Wife After 25 Years Together.

A pastor, Bernard Towoju, has said he cannot tolerate his wife’s ill-nature and troubles. He allegedly said his wife, Abosede, was in the habit of going naked to swear for him with her private part.



On Wednesday, he approached an Igando Customary Court, Lagos, seeking the dissolution of their marriage of 25 years.

“I cannot continue to make love with a woman who always swears for me with her private part,” he said.

According to him, Abosede is stubborn, wayward and troublesome.

“She once came to my office to fight me and tore my clothes in the presence of my colleagues. We fight on daily basis and hurt each other a lot.
