“The Fake Recall Will Fail And Very Soon” – Dino Melaye.

Senator representing Kogi West district Dino Melaye has called on his constituents to remain calm, adding that they “will sail through” the storm on their way.


He said this on Twitter Tuesday morning after the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) released the schedule of activities for his recall.

52.3% of electorate in his constituency had voted for his recall.

Melaye had also charged INEC to court claiming that dead persons signed the petition for his recall.



“To all my constituents good morning. Let not your heart be trouble. There are storms on our way but we will sail through.

God is with us so nothing to fear. The fake recall will fail and very soon. Please maintain peace as every lie has an expiry date.

I will not stop speaking the truth or being voice for the voiceless. We shall win yet again. Yahaya Bello must pay salaries and pensioners.

Sing the song of victory with me because we shall surely overcome the agents of darkness. In God we trust and not in Naira.

Melaye, who was elected into office in 2015, also stated on Twitter on Sunday, saying: “Those who did not call me can not recall me”.

A pastor, Bernard Towoju, has said he cannot tolerate his wife’s ill-nature and troubles. He allegedly said his wife, Abosede, was in the habit of going naked to swear for him with her private part.



On Wednesday, he approached an Igando Customary Court, Lagos, seeking the dissolution of their marriage of 25 years.
